I'm with rburg . . . what model is it? I'm kind of a one-trick-pony on saw brand knowledge, so under the cover of darkness like that (also sans top cover & hand guard) I couldn't tell the difference between a small Husqvarna and a Wild Thing?!?! Husqvarna doesn't make the Wild Think do they?? ;)

I do love that short little roller nose and anorexic chain!

I was down to wild thing or P pro but then I thought it was a small husky. I was hoping not like a 141/142 but more like a 346 350 or something .

Part of my confirmed suspicion is the plugged decompression hole.

That should be the #1 hint... The 2 piece head? If you put one on a homeowner saw? That would be stupid..

The bar and chain... The paint job (dye/water print?).. The unGODly sized carb, custom mounting plate, no air filter, no choke, etc, etc, etc... ;)

and the fact that Eric ( ECsaws) is behind it?

I'm guessing an XP model.. :D

I know which one. Now it's a guessing game :zip:

I did think that the carb looked Strang but just let it go. I did notice the head but thought it might of just been a paint job or something couldn't tell it was two piece in that last pic.

My GB bar was pre-drilled for a helper handle; I just picked up a granberg and it fit perfectly. Good thing too cause I think it's going to be a 2-man job to run it if I want to make more than 1 cut in a day. I'm going to use it as a substitute tip guard in the mill as well.
