It's minus eight tonight with it trending down, it's 77 in the basement and 70 up here.

We have both the wood & pellet stove going.

5º outside and 75º upstairs (should put a thermo. in the stove room) guessing 80ish. Heading to the stove to put in something along the lines of oak, locust, hickory, sugar maple....whatever will fit.

We had a regular temp of -14 this morning, with the snow and the wind coming in we'll hit -40 for a realfeel temp.

4 miles north of us this morning they had a temp of 0 when we were at -14.

Woke up to -31 c , -37 c with the wind chill. This little stove sure gets up and goes with the cold!

About 8" of snow in the last few days. Odd for the belt. Tuesday they were calling for 2-3' by Sat.
Prolly fill the wood room today. Coal buckets for sure.
Coal and oak in the gullet of the beast.

We have two days of cold, then a whole bunch of -10 to -15 C coming up. Not as balmy as your weather, but I'll take it.

I am at 2f right now but the wind chill is -17f. Wasn't too nice out there this morning.
The temps will continue to drop along with the wind chill. Warnings of -30 wind chill are out for later.
It isn't as bitter as it would be if the real temp was -30 and then add (subtract) the wind form that!!!

It's about 10° right now, up from 0° this morning and we're looking at -10 tomorrow and even colder on Sunday. Nothing but red oak in the stove for the weekend here, need some badass BTUs to keep the house warm! :fire:
