Tonight we had a winter fog just before dark! Prob letting the wood absorb some moisture :hair:. But it's been out there for a couple years. So it will be fine by next winter :D

Yeah, it's a sawmill. They have a little bit of wood there!

The pile you see in the 2nd pic is their slab wood pile that they sell as firewood. They sell a LOT of slab wood! !

It was an Amish saw mill. So they use a diesel engine and lots of pulleys, cables, tracks, etc. It's rather quiet and they don't work weekends. Mainly just operate 8-10 hrs a day. But it's the hours we are gone. So it doesn't bother me none.

Plus, they let my son and I hunt on their property, get slab wood really cheap, and give me a good deal on the Cants I buy for the GTG's.

Overall, they have been great neighbors! The 2 oldest boys bought the house last summer. So they have since ran electric to the house, and have updated the horse carriage pulled wood box from the mill, to an electric elevator.

Took the dog out for a walk and snapped some snow pics and another shot of the neighbors place. Hard to see the wood pile bow, as people are buying it like mad!!
