this an adaptation of from a thread started a while back.

Trim usable meat from leftover ham, cube and set aside/refrigerate
Fill stockpot with water covering ham bone and boil...1-2hrs.

2-3 large potatoes peeled & diced
    leftover carrots peeled & diced
    1 onion finely chopped

add above ingredients and bring to boil after removing hambone.

    in separate saucepan:
    melt 1/4 stick buttah
slowly add & blend 1/4 cp flour
    blend 3cps milk
slowly add 3cps shredded cheddar cheese

once sauce pan is blended add to boiling pot, dump some frozen peas in for color& ham for manliness and stir a few times remove from heat and enjoy;)

Sounds real good! And I bet if you try real hard, you could post a pic and get everyone to salivate!!

Wish there was a pot simmering here for the next couple days.
