And another newbie!

Hey, everyone! I've been lurking for a while, joined up already, but lovin the camaraderie here. I grew up with wood heat, and maybe that's where I got the firebug. I'm currently heating an old farmhouse in West central Georgia with a heat pump, supplemented with wood heat. A large Fisher insert (slammer style; I know, I know...) and a Papa Bear in a concrete lined flue- interior masonry chimney. Toting a LOT o wood. I burn a lot of Oak, some Hickory, and a little Pine. I hate to see the "Auxiliary Heat" notification on the thermostat, so I fight that.
Anyway, thanks for being here and teaching me stuff. Ain't nothing like some wood heat!
