Pellet heads!! What's up today?

IHP, most/all UPS units in the $200 range are Line Interactive / modified sine wave: they will cleanup to a certain point, but the UPS output is not (isolated) from line power, which is what a double-conversion unit provides. Those units are $400 & up.

That said, the CP1500PFCLCD does a great job of stabilizing sine wave output: the sine output of that unit is very clean. (It has to be, in order to run PFC power supplies.) It's a very capable & popular UPS at this price point.

Oh - I doubt we will ever see the likes of what the steel curtain did over time. Free agency and salary cap makes that nearly impossible. They were great individual players whose some was still somehow greater than the one. I did say ALMOST, and only meant it in the context of a single season ala the 85 Bears.

In all fairness Carolina's defense was equally dominating.

Wow, I was at work & busy, didn't get to watch the game, only some highlights.. Since I doubt Peyton Manning would behave like that, this was Cam Newton acting like this.. Sounds like he needs to grow up some.

 

Course it was a far different game back then.

I think the curtain would lose some temper playing defense under today's rules.

 

I doubt he will. The temperment displayed is consistent with past performance. He has never taken defeat well and even in victory often cried to the refs about mal treatment this year.

In past less successful years he would often isolate himself at the end of the bench.

I doubt he will last long in this league. Running QB's have relatively short careers, and yes I know he is big but so are LBers and DL's are bigger yet.

 

You're certainly right about that. Headslaps, forearms ( with shin pads taped to them) to the head, etc. Back in those days everyone's brain was jello by the time they retired.

I also remember Swann playing in a Super Bowl with his brain swollen. He had a spectacular game but at what cost.

They will need to slow the game down and soon. Too many injuries. I think we will see the three and four point stances discontinued with a couple of years.

 

I'm a Giants fan and I used to love watching LT play. Nobody dominated like he did.

cleaned the p68 some today. Had switched over to stove temp since the wife has the thermostat set on the furnace. Only thing is now that I am on stove temp, I get the speed bump in the burn pot. Didn't get that on room temp. Anyway, very easy to clean. Runs super good. Looks like we are going into some arctic air for a while.

 

Anytime, there are also movies and such in the archive, I've been mining the archive for content to add to my collection which is growing by large amounts. Media convergence is in the cross hairs at long last. Once I get the folks at Netgear (it is now in the hands of their engineering folks, level one, and two have kicked up another level) in high gear I can serve up all kinds of shows all over the lot.

 

I've been saving them for the really cold, and it looks like this weekend it is
going to be below zero... so yeah... will pop open a few bags for certain..
