My nephew lives and works in northern Ohio. This winter his Toyota 4runner got into a fight with black ice and a concrete barrier and lost. Being fresh out of college and a DYI kind of guy he bought a used bumper off of Craig's list and the years were too far off to make it work.

He was looking at aftermarket bumpers but most places are out west and very pricey. If any of you northern folks know of any metal fab shops that are willing to make a bumper let me know and I will pass the info along.

My nephew lives in Akron, works in Medina and isn't afraid to travel the area to get what he needs for a good bumper.

Could try here...But I don't know if they have anything for a 4Runner. Good place to deal with if they have what he needs.

I was just going to say Ohio Light truck in Stausburg but I see that web site eatonpcat linked is for them. A couple other 4wd.com which is in Columbiana,OH (about 1 hr drive from Akron). Fender Vendor in Canton, OH or Keystone/LKQ Corp out of Akron 1-800-822-5555 have both used and aftermarket.

Just had a buddy buy a bumper for his Focus from Certifit (Brooklyn Heights, OH)...Their website is almost useless, but they would be worth a call!

Yeah but they are cheap!! Thanks for the advice though...I was thinking about looking at door panels for the wife's Jeep, but now I will pass!

I am not sure this would be of any interest but I'll tell you anyway.

Car-part.com is a nation wide junk yard search that I have found lots of my parts through. Most recently a transmission for my truck.
