A few clouds around but no rain. Empty pickup. The crew staying warm. Nice small log old growth Fir. The road is through 40 year old second growth but was used by a helicopter to land old growth fir from much higher up on the mountain. Loaded up . Time to go home. Self and the crew scouting out the next load. On the highway home.

Awesome! Thank you for the videos! Is that home built? I have never seen such a machine. I can hear the log begging as it is pulled to its doom! Haha That is a slick setup. The hoist capability is very nice as well. I have some years left, but I sometimes wonder how I will physically be able to keep going in my later years. Proof right there that youth and enthusiasm is no match for age and cunning!
