Ah I think we've all put members off in our own ways. I say lighten up, but that's just me. Let he who is without firewood sin chuck the first wood. You can my threads any time Eric VW. Progress update! 90% of brush cleared + 2 loads of firewood out so far. Beautiful day to be outside!
Man, with all that work you done today, you won't make it to Super Bowl halftime tonight(if you were even gonna watch it) So- all farwood, or you culling some out for the mill?
Yikes! Wrong term! "Cull" is a rotten log and fighting words to a logger! Yeah, I think I planned out 8 saw logs - mostly 6 footers, couple of 8's. Ill show you in person this spring! I think it would actually make a pretty good 2 man system. It's a workout doing it solo but I get a lot done fast.
One last load and I ran out of gas. Me and the saw. Still parked in the garage. Probably 1 more jumbo load of firewood left to get. Here's the haul so far.
Meant to post this too - this is how I get it done solo. It helps if there's some tonge weight when the trailer is empty. Then if I can lift one end, its on the trailer. Unloading is kind of the same way - park up as close as possible and I never have to support all the weight at once.
Eric, I can't speak for everyone but for me you are like my politically incorrect uncle, We all know what he is faults and all, got a heart of gold, and love him for what he is! Just like you! you're welcome to hijack any of my threads too half the time at nite with an adult beverage or AM with coffee I laugh and have to clean tablet screen ... after reading your posts!
I will start a spreadsheet of members who aren't put off by my sense of humor or derailing of threads and post accordingly..... Ya kinda get a feel for stuff when your posts are constantly "liked" by some, and skipped over for "likes" right above or below... Don't like that I've come to notice that, and all I can attribute it to is stuff like the epic "feed thong" maligning Oh well....that's how family is. I'd still be there for any of ya's (regardless) in need, or "like!"
