The 250 rips pretty good since the muffler mod and I ordered all the parts to fix the crushed 260 pro earlier today. If I'm still not happy I'll either mod the hell out of these 2 saws or pick up something bigger, badder, better. The brother in law has an older 088 with a 5' bar if I get into something real big.

The 088 is a 3 hour round trip drive to pick up so I'm only going after it if I have to.

The 088 is definitely overkill on these trees and my shoulders wouldn't be happy after just a few minutes. An opportunity to cut big wood around here doesn't come up too often unless you're buying a load of logs and the price has been high for a few years so I've stayed away from it. Plus, there's always a bunch of kids running around and a pile of big logs worries me since most of the kids are a little crazy.

Already got a buddy involved to split the work and wood. Between us we have 2 tractors, 4 trailers, 1 wheeler, 4 1/2 saws, and some backup from family and friends if things get ugly. Just wish we could convince all the kids to come out and drag brush. My youngest can't wait to get out there but the others are more interested in video games and hair, nails, and clothes and things like that.

Yup. All you gotta do is ask I guess. Well, that and the price of free helps.

So, this is just a guess but, isn't like 2:35 in the morning over there??? Don't you sleep amigo? It's all I can do to make it until 11:00.

My oldest daughter doesn't sleep much and never has. She's 23 now and used to wake me up just to talk. She lives with her mother in Florida now and I kinda miss her waking me up for chats.

So I'm guessing you're a mechanic? What machines do you work on? Saws or others as well?

Ok. Now I'm crazy curios. I've never been out of the US except for walking across the ice into Canada so I gotta ask. Is this your own business or do you work for a shop? We can switch to P.M. if you'd like or just tell me to mind my own business. I'm very hard to offend.
