That opens up another realm of possibilities for me. I will have to expand my research to include tablets too.
As savemoney says, don't go cheap on a tablet, you will hate it. Unless you can see it and try it out in the store first. Also, there is no USB on iPads, androids may or may not have them.
I'm no expert but 2GB RAM and a 32GB SSD seems really limited to me, especially running WIN 10? Not familiar with what you really minimally need on those little babies. I'd be thinking I'd at least want an i3 too.
And that is a very important thing. If you are into using memory sticks, you will will want the USB port. They also have a place for an SD card which improves memory storage. Remember, you can also access cloud storage so that is a vast improvement. That is one reason not to go out on a limb with some discounted junk. They jam up quickly, don't boot up right, and are only useful as a paper weight after a couple months. Go with a fast processor. Take your time, try some of them out. The tabs generally don't have Windows ten, some do, but most are android based. I have nothing but positive things to say about my Ipad and my Samsung Tab. You can get a good Samsung in the 300-350 range.
For a tablet, this probably don't offer much memory (maybe "memories" for Stinny, rottiman, Backwoods Savage, ), but it sure doesn't need a battery! Sorry for the 'Jack mattjm1017, couldn't resist
You can try slickdeals.net use the search box for laptop or tablet and they will pull up the best deals at different stores You do NOT need to join.
mattjm1017 , 3 of these in hubbys company since 2012, they all like them. Not sure if its too big for carrying around? http://www.staples.com/Toshiba-Sate...-HD-6GB-RAM-Windows-10-Laptop/product_1674136
What did you end up doing then mattjm1017 ? We are planning on going to Best Buy to look at the Asus 15.6" laptop (that is still on sale for $299) after dinner tonight.
I haven't had time to do anything yet I'm waiting to get my tax return and work and school has kept me to busy to do any more research hopefully in a couple weeks I'll get to it.
