It was beautiful to be working outside cleaning the exhaust with the link eater on the roof and the windows open in the basement for fresh air. I was in a little bit of a haze from Saturday night with DexterDay but it was a fun time.

Problem is, I think my furnace is running too good now. I think I had a case of beer and a 5th of fireball evaporate overnight.... Must have been all the stove upgrades that now the house is too dry and needed the moisture... Yep that must have been it.

Worked from 7-1:30 and then drove home for four hours on Sunday. We worked through the entire weekend on a side job. Property taxes to be paid, and these weekends will take care of them.

Another great day! temps in the 50's. What a great start to feb. I never thought i'd type those words...

I did waste most of it at work, but i did get out for lunch and get some errands done. Nice to do things without a giant coat, gloves, hat, scarf and metal studded boots

Don how do you like these pellets ?? I only ask because a few folks here were less than thrilled with how they preformed for the price they had to pay .

Ah yes the good old days... did you know there is only 15 different values for the passkey resistors? Have you ever tried soldering wires to the pellet?

Yesterday I made a trip to get some proper pellets. The LG's are the best I can get within an hour of here. I had thought I was saving more money with a lesser quality pellet from a dealer 5 miles from here, but the stove needs to run on a higher heat setting just to get a reasonable flame, and by doing so it uses more pellets. The end result is the financial gap is closer than one might assume by just looking at numbers on paper. Something else occurred yesterday, I found out the LG dealer had another incentive for purchasing his pellets; the cost gap was reduced even more. I'll make another trip after I fix my coolant system in the truck.

Yup I remember. I just did a 11.8 k repair. Never put one on a chip though. Did a few 3 wire pass key 3 I think. Used to send a 5 v. reference and wanted a certain voltage back if I remember correctly.

    Doggy

Was that the value of the Resistor, or the amount charged? Cause that'd be one freaking expensive passkey..

Especially on Trash day - he would be turning red when the cans weren't out to the curb early.. "But Dad, you know they do stop back every week.." Used to drive him crazy with that.
