    Already cancelled my 7 am appointment to get the Focus inspected - don't expect to make it home tonight. Nearly 8" when I went and cleaned the car off.

    Nice here, sun is out but it was cold in the morning -7*F. Just finished doing my new LUX thermostat install which I fabricated a two furnace functional switch so I choose oil or pellet.

    probably 8" here now... still snowing, although not so hard now.... weather forecast was for anything from a little rain to 1" to 3"

    Maybe they should just say it could be sunny or cloudy, rain or snow 1" to 60", and mostly daylight today followed by increasing darkness toward evening!:rofl: :lol:

    I don't usually have to work more than an 8 hr day , but when the season starts I'm there 7 days a week 25 - 30 days straight.

    beautiful day here. Lots of blue skies and sunshine. Too bad I have to be at work all day. Should get lots of solar gain and the house should be nice and toasty tonight. on days like today the furnace shuts off in the morning and doesn't turn on again until well after bedtime

    I have no use for the snow, except on a postcard! Two days ago, the forecast didn't see this storm. It was forecasting the one for next Tuesday. Wife says another one for next Thursday.
    Last year, I was trying to figure out when we were going to put the next storm. Snow banks were huge. Flower planters were completely buried. I do like to have some snow to insulate my perennials. But that's all. As if I can pick and choose.

    Forecast here is to make sure we remove all the snow tonight because it was going to freeze hard as a rock. The roads are awful around here. Everyone has been warned not to travel.
