$100 for a Whit in any sort of good shape physically is a deal. The best I have ever found around here is $200 for a Whit. Part it out and make at least 3 times that. A good control board will bring at least $150 on ebay if not more Fix the glass, paint it and get $600
#1 and #2 copper is down now too....sucks. Seems like the car and XL batteries are still doing decent in pricing though....at least around here.
Funny you say that, when I made my haul I had a battery to sell seperately. By the time I got there I forgot about it got dumped in their yardwith the scrap.
Normally, ceramic glass can be found at regular glass store, or can be ordered. Shouldn't be too $$. For a $100 bill, I'd take a chance.
good grief. I havent done that in years but the yield used to be much higher. Whenever i put something containing any metal at all by the curb, i have a scrapper asking for it in under an hour. oh well.
uh huh $100 for a stove like the Whit (if its not crap) is a steal. Big deal is that the cabinet and sheet metal are nice condition. Everything else is repairable
