That's a big piece of wood there and a beast of a tractor. That carry all is sweet! I would love to make one out of boxed steel like that.
Not exactly a carry-all on there. Just a set of bale forks that pull double duty. Diameter of that log is about 24" as the 20" bar on the 044 didn't quite cut thru all the way.
Lol! Thanks for the info. A carry-all made like that would be pretty stout. On the other hand, bale forks that could also be used to pick up logs would be much better.
Hopefully today I can haul out the other 3 large pieces from this tree. There is a main trunk piece, and the 2 main pieces from above the crotch. All were cut at 64" long- easy to get 4 16" rounds out of there. And the forks are 44" apart- easier to load.
They make hitch lifts for that.... Standard Ball Mounts : The Hitch Store, Trailer Hitches Online Just flip them over.....
That would be the Mighty Muskingum! Grew up a river rat and couldn't be happier about it. Have been on the Ohio. Family used to pack the boat up and head down the Muskingum into the Ohio and camp on Blennerhassett Island. Great fun! It always used to rain on us all the way back home though, which is about 5 hours by boat...every. single. trip.

I bought this machine to excavate for our house. I have a few more projects and am hoping to make enough when I sell or trade for a smaller machine.
Just face the facts man! Those "projects" never end, keep the hoe and start saving for "a smaller machine"! Now, let's talk about that excavator,,,,,,, you can never have too much "iron" in the yard.
