Demand is up, Great fall stocking season, no overstocked, huge customer demand Yup, there is at 199a ton. And just to push it a bit, my gas bill for last two months were $106 & 119. Im sure oil people are similar.
His are 349 near me -- They would need to be 50% better than Vanderhoof Platinums to be an equal value -- They are not. He was posting here when I joined. My 1st post was a reaction to a series of his posts that I found ... well snarky at best. I would be unlikely to buy his product because I do not buy from operations that I perceive as "unfriendly". Guess I have some Donald in me somewhere
I've just come to the realization, after organizing my stash, I don't have as much room as I thought. Somehow, I gotta try to squeeze two ton in somewhere!
I gotta throw in these Chow's and see how they burn in the Quad....I'll probably grab a ton of those too provided they do ok.
Today's haul. $3.99 each - $10 HD garden club discount = around $3.60/bag. Throwing the first bag in when the hopper's empty and if they burn nicely I'll probably go back for more next weekend. I don't have room for them, but for this price I'll work something out. Gotta pig em while you can!
Home Depot - Prices are $3.99/bag in CT now. I'm expecting MA to do the same thing next week, so I'll just pig out at one of the stores on the way home from work one day.
From your mouth to God's ear. I stopped in to the Oxford HD this morning and the price was the same as it has been. Big Heats, FSU and Chows were out.
Nice score TT ,I'm going to be doing some more garage arranging this week with the warmer temps I can work out there load up as many as I can squeeze in .
IHP, these bags are dated 08-15. I opened one and they are nearly identical to the second batch I got last season (the good batch) - fairly dark in color and mostly small, pea size. Nice softwood smell. Fingers crossed.
