My stove arrived today; me one happy camper. :ups::banana::dancer:. Now I just need :makeitrain"and I will be OK. Will be working on the chimney today so I can move ahead and be warm. It is currently 10C/50F in the house and that is a bit too chilly for me.

Here is a shot of the stove sitting out in the drive. As you can see, not much snow left here.

She may not be the prettiest of stoves but she is mine :)

I love the large glass door and it sits higher from the floor than the NC-30; which may be why it only requires ember protection. I was reading this morning on how to operate an EPA stove, I don't want to mess things up by doing something wrong.

I think I like the rectangular door better than the arched door on the NC-30.

I helped to unload the stove and she is heavy. I am still wondering if I need to worry about the floor supports. I know the hearth pad that I will build will help to distribute the load; I did learn something in statics and dynamics :D

I'd seriously die if it was 50 in my house.

You're crazy- that stove is gorgeous, girl!
How are you going to get it in the house???
Obviously you will remove the brick and all, but consider removing the door to protect the glass, or cover it REAL well- you've come too far to suffer something so unfortunate.
Very happy for you, K- wish I was further along healing from surgery, or I would have asked directions to come help.

    :fire:Yay!

Yes, I was being mean. I use to look at those enameled cast iron stoves with all the curves and such and they are pretty stoves but they come with a huge price tag; the one I use to wish for was red enameled.

Well, I figured you would come over and .... LOL, just joking. I guess I am going to build a ramp at the kitchen porch and then see if I can find some strong men to help me.
