I've had a run of 365s on my bench here lately. Finally got one ported and complete but it's not mine;) It turned out pretty good for a work saw. Be able to knock a few cookies off for the new owner if he gets into that too. I was lazy and didn't take pictures of course.

365special's are impressive saws. They will hold there own against larger saws. Nice job Mike.

    What carb you running?

Sounds like it is holding the RPM's well in the cut and looked pretty fast to me. Nice job Mike. Must have been a real port job.

The 365 special sounds like a good saw.

When were the specials made? I've only seen regular 365s for sale around here.

Keith actually had this for sale a week. It didn't sell so he decided to have it ported since I owed him a port job.

Make sure it's a special though, otherwise it's only 65 cc. The specials are over 70cc.

    But you knew that;)

70.7 cc's iirc for the specials. 65 cc only for the normal 365.

Note there's a zama carb and not the better , carb like the 372 though, and there's something funky on the head or cylinder to make it less power than the 372, but that can be dremeled away.

So I hear. I'm not a husky guy, as in German and Norwegian.

Edit. The 365 x torq is the same p&c as the 372
