Hey guys, thought I'd start a thread where we can share tunes we're listening to... I can't get enough of this guy lately. He's playing in Seattle tonight and I just caught him live on the radio. Wish I could be there, but it's too far away and I'm chilling. Here you go, a new one and one with his old band....
Enough of the dance music...I'm off to work. lol. Maybe I am out of it but this was on the radio and I haven't heard it for over 20 years ago. Flashback.
I am lucky enough to have access to a sweet vinyl collection. Incense, candles, and...Bob Dylan & Neil Young are sexy. Ha ha!
2 of my all time favs I have about 500 vinyl in my collection pic's in the link http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/for...diophile-types-or-like-me-just-wannabees.251/
I love classic vinyl (I'm a child of that era). One of my favorite artists of the seventies, hands-down, is Gordon Lightfoot.....love the style, the voice, and the feel of his music.......takes me back to long rides in the car, sittin' UP FRONT "in the middle", listening to the ol' 8 track player going down the freeway....
I was thinking Bowie was trying to sound like Lou Reed and I guess I was right because Queen Bitch is a direct homage to Reed and The Velvet Underground.
5oo in your vinyl collection? I will have to check out that link, Will. Another vinyl I have played and one of those greatest songs... Music isn't the same otherwise.
