    Well I got quite a surprise Monday afternoon, after digging out to get hay to the cows on Sunday I went out Monday after work and found this little guy just romping around in the snow. Must have been born Sunday night, the surprise is, I wasn't expecting any calves until the first part of March. Makes me wonder what these girls are up to when I'm not around;).

    It is amazing how many calves are born during a storm. Of if they are having a problem delivering, it is usually on one of the coldest nights of the year. I spent too many cold nights in a cow pen...
