    Looks like it is shaping up to be a very mild week. Temps in 20's and lows in single/teen digits. Yup, I'll take it! :thumbs:

    19 this morning. Supposed to hit high 30's
    I raked the coals and added a little bit of oak. No coal.
    Should be a lot of solar gain today. Id like the beast to be close to cold when I get done work. Wanna pull the cap off the inside T for an inspection.

    cold wind but temps are not bad tonight{45 degrees} so the fire is actually a smolder. nice to not have to run it so hard. the pellet in the basement kinda covering me tonight.

    'Bout 30 this am, so I waited a while to put in 4 small splits.
    House was 68. I didn't load the stove full last night.
    Might start up another fire here soon...maybe after I go out and rake the roof.
    We got another 3-4" over night and some this morning.

    We had 34 this morning (we did hit 42 today) we built a small fire this morning so I could take the ashes out which I did.

    We had 31 this morning with a little freezing rain. So far I am REALLY liking this winter!!!!:thumbs: (Besides the fact that we have only seen the sun for about 10 days in the last 45!:picard:) :rofl: :lol:

    Snowed enough last night that I didn't have a chance to log in this morning. Gotta get the shoveling done, right? Came home from work and had to do it all over again!
    Mild temps are good. Low 20's right now.

    it's just a joke. i said i gave the stove the night off, i implied that my stove would go out on a date on his night off work..... just a joke, not real funny, but just a joke. by the way it was warm enough the last two days to melt most of our snow. the ground is wet and the creek is flowing. no pellet again tonight but it will get cold enough to need a fire so it will be a maple fire for me!

    reloaded with maple(again) this am ,cool but not cold in the house. ground froze overnight and will thaw today. looks to have a good crop of mud this year!

    50 right now. Threw some white oak , walnut and more oak in the stove. Set on a low slow burn.
