Always chuckle when I saw Butcher 's avatar, Made me think, I wonder who else gets ice stuck to their face. This snow storm gave me an ice face this morning....
The first two months of winter, I grow one. Currently clean shaven. But if I had posted pics, you would have seen plenty frozen....we're talking "snotsicles". Any up here or out during the winters cold knows exactly what they are. Just ask this guy
That's snot me in the pic! Just an image I had found.I don't think you'll ever see a pic of me on here...(computer/internet is the devil)
No doubt. Ever read "The Screw tape Letters?" Seriously... C.S. Lewis had it right concerning machines(computers) that would organize and file our lives for nefarious purposes by you-know-who.....
I try to avoid being outside during conditions that would result in my face looking like a glacier. I keep enough wood in the garage so I can go outside when I want to, not if I need to.
It doesn't get cold enough here for me to get an icy beard. But sometimes I have to go into some of my company's cold storage warehouses for inspections. My beard turns white after about 5 minutes in there, most of them are kept at -20°F.
This is what 2hrs ripping all over the fields on the snowmobile will get you......and I had a full face mask on too!!! Bottom of beard was exposed to elements.....giant iceball. Wife almost peed her pants laughing when I came in for lunch, that's when she snapped this pic!!
Above normal temps here so I aint got no new frozen beard mug shots. Would a frosty mug shot be good enough? I get a little wiser as I age and just stay inside when it gets so cold my face hurts.
Well, sortuv. I just got back from a 40 mile journey in a sleet storm to see iffn I could dump a couple of trees and get them home in a successful manner without loss of truck or limbs or my pride. We will see what the night and the morrow bring.
