Even after clearing I'm not sure what we got. I guess 2' but so many deep drifts. Need a little poke of Irish with the coffee.

Cleared this spot out last night, just enough to pull car out and shovel the carport.

This morning finished the drive. Started at 7:30, finished at 3:30.

    Now for a hot bath.

They all tucked in. Snow is a good layer of insulation for them. I will clear them out the first day it is expected to be 45* or so to allow them to make some pooping flights.

I got stuck! That doesnt really happen with the truck. This was the second stuck of the day. The first time i slipped into the other neighbors creek. Needed a tug on both occasions. Oh well. I was crashing drifts over the wheel wells. Jeep takes a beating!

Listen everyone, be careful out working in snow, it is harder work than most think. It is not worth having a heart attack over clearing snow. The sleet and snow is still on the ground here due to being so cold; secondary roadways have not been scraped. I cleared just the part in front of the kitchen door and the steps; the rest can wait until warmer weather this week melts it. I know you folks up north may not have the luxury of warmer temps; although you will get some lost of snow through sublimation if it stays cold with low humidity.

We haven't yet. But it looks like we'll get a little at least this week. No idea how much, but it won't be 30-40 inches like this storm.

We are prepared for it though if it does.

At least next week is supposed to be in the forties. That's a big change from last year where once the temps went below freezing they stayed there for weeks on end.
