Maybe a big bin made of plywood with screened vents to keep the rodents and birds out. It wouldn't take a very big bin in your basement to hold a ton or so.

Finished basement can get in the way especially if a princess lives in the castle.

I lowered my heat setting to #2 before I headed to town and just before I headed out the door, I took a peak. Furnace fire was out, was the fan running too high for that heat setting or could of it been when I filled the bin the fire went out(when hopper lid is open, auger stops until lid is closed)? There is so little feeding the fire at the Fuel setting of wheat/grain which probably caught me of guard on my timing of the open hopper lid! Will play with it later and will report back.

Ban83, I was thinking of my LG's pellet having a hard time giving me heat that it could be the problem with your furnace. I notice some humidity on my hopper lid on my Accentra with those pellets.

    Lid open kills the auger.

I don't have any LG's this year. But I know the Lacwoods aren't great. They work well in the Harman, but not so great in the 50F. It's likely the McFeeters though. Next time I am on afternoons I'm going to head and get some corn.

You can actually jump it out. Just take the back panel off and take the lid switch right out of the circuit. If a person wanted to.

I know all the above works, actually it was done when I got the furnace. I just removed the arm and sponge closed the button.

Here is the flame on level 3 with the damper fully open. This is after I updated the sail switch, exhaust manifold, and blower.

Should I keep the damper wide open, or back it down to the set screw? Any negative affect with keeping it wide open?
    Thanks!

I'd still leave it wide open. Closing it will hurt the flame. I'd still want a lot toe more air flow than that. But that is much better than your previous video.

I had it done by the same company that installed my geo unit. It's like a metallic bubble wrap.

Looks great!! And those are great temps for level 4. But the flame still wanting to be dragged down the sides make me think the air flow is slow, or those side baffle panels are not up against the back of the firebox.

On both sides of the pot, there are to thin sheet metal panels to stop ash and prohibit air flow dowm to the ash pan area. Make sure that the backs of those thin deflectors are up against the back of the fiebox.
