News tonight said 16 states impacted, and 16 storm related deaths. Worse yet, it isn't over. TV showed a lot of homes flooded. I can't understand staying in a area that get flooded on a regular basis.

I really feel sorry for those folks. I know they love the shore, but the risk seems to be just too much. Loss of life, your home, your savings etc. Doesn't add up to me. But not everyone thinks the same way. A seasonal home, maybe OK, but not the one you call home.

I agree. Life is too short to begin with. Then again life is crazy, some are in the safest places to live and stuff happens, go figure.

Looking southeast on a beautiful, clear, moonlit night I can see the fringes of the storm. Had a sunny afternoon today, expecting a sunny day tomorrow. Hope everyone else is warm and safe.

Naturally, I was kidding. Please don't be offended.
I for one appreciate your no-nonsense posts- cut and dry, no wiggle room, stick to yer guns kinda gal. I find nothing wrong with that. But here throughout this thread, it seems you've pulled back the curtain a bit, and showing/hinting a sense of humor I've not (personally) detected thus far, is all I was aiming at.....
Maybe "robot" wasn't the best choice of words.....
Anyway, I'll try to unwedge my foot from my mouth now.....

Yeah a tire chain fell off so I had to dig an area out to make room for putting it back on and then dig the tractor out to get to the cleared spot lol
