Gotta respect the ribbons. I used to drink a lot of that.

PBR and Red White and Blue were the 'go to beers' in the college days.

'Chopped beef' is a popular snack in northern Michigan. I've got some friends up there that love it. Pretty much raw hamburger with some onions in it.

No thanks. Any meat I eat has to at least be flame kissed.

If it is from a restaurant, I have to have it cooked at least med rare. I just don't trust some food handling. Some people are reckless with their sanitary habits. Heat fixes many of those errors. Any place serving chicken and beef needs to have very cautious food handling. I've had food poisoning a few times. Twice from fast food, and once from a Chinese place. No fun. I'm a lot older now so my resistance isn't as good as it was in the past. Problem now is that a lot of illness comes from the salad bar. Green coming in that are infected.

AKA Steak Tartar. I like raw hamburger. Been eating it since I was a kid. As much as I like a rare steak, though, once I start cooking hamburger it has to be well done. I don't like the consistency of them once the fat starts melting.

Won't do raw hamburger, but I like steak to moo for me. I don't care for fat, so get the cheap steaks and trim off any fat. I do wave it at a flame - just long enough for an introduction, "Flame meet steak, steak meet flame". Then it is good. Nice and tender and juicy.

Throw some raw beef on a couple slices of bread and have yourself a cannibal sandwich.

Was about 25 degrees yesterday in Lincoln NH. It felt good to be out on some hiking trails for a bit and then in the ice castles with my honey and her 12 y/o daughter.

There are some pics but cant find the camera-12 y/o probably hoarding it-and still sleeping :picard:

My honey got a robo call from Sams's Club yesterday informing her that some fresh Dole product she bought (probably lettuce) likely had listeria and she could return it for a refund.

Yeah, that was almost 2 weeks ago that she bought it-and had stomach issues for a week along with her older son. Nothing debilitating but not feeling well and "bathroom" visits. Not knowing, they kept eating salads and now the only way to return it is to recover it from the septic system first :hair:

I don't do it anymore, with all the "issues" that have been popping up more & more, but I loved raw hamburger meat when I was a kid. Mom had to keep telling me "Stop that!"

This is how I make my living. I have an organic fruit and vegetable farm.
