One of my oldest memories of music as a young kid. I was 5 years old when this one came out.

With my mom around its no doubt that I was drawn to music.
I still remember the day as an early teen when we both bought the same 45 on the same day at the same record store-The Doors, Rider on the Storm.

I was living on Westland Avenue in Boston, 100 yards from Symphony Hall, going to school at Northeastern, and surrounded by Berklee students. I played the groves off that BS&T, the winter of '69. This was my favorite song.

The CD that's been in my "Nature Sounds" fancy alarm clock for about 3 years.  I never wake to nature sounds (get enough of them in real life), occasionally wake to the default BST (that speaks for itself), and usually wake to "Y103", a great classic rock station out of Youngstown at 102.9 around here!

YOu got some snow out there Boog?

We've gotten 8 inches total all season so far. But that don't mean anything as we didn't get hit last year till today then all hell broke loose.

Love your BS&T, keep rockin' buddy!!

Here's one I'm afraid to say I mayhave worn the grooves out of.. I couldn't get enough of this album when it hit. Paul Rodgers more widely known as the singer for Bad Company and a great set of musicians.

Wow, I don't have anything like that around here! :binoculars:Maybe only about 1" of old stuff here. Its all going by 2 counties south of me.

Here is the "alarm" lead off song. A "video/audio/edited/remastered" version. The horn section lead off wakes better than most alarms and it transforms through steady and pulsing rhythms. A second big horn peak reinforces the wake up call if that's what you need to do. Then it begins to finish off to a relaxing swoozy ending. Works out perfect if you just want to end up hitting snooze! ;)

I ride with a guy who is engaged to the drummers mother. Screw Neil Diamond, the Dropkick Murphys are the Boston teams regulation band.
