That happened once during a nor'easter, snow up to the top of the storm door. On the other side of the house was a 10 foot strip with no snow at all. The wind just put the snow where it wanted.

My poor old Grandma looks rough, don't she…:( She's gonna get a face lift this spring! :) She's been cooking away there since 1980, time I give her a new dress and some lipstick!

I was in a bar once in Cheyenne and asked for a beer, as soon as I said "beer" the whole bar went quiet…:eek::eek:, I said thanks, drank it in less than 30 seconds and expeditiously departed the establishment. I didn't get a warm and fuzzy, I guess it was something about having NJ tags on the truck! o_O

Aunt lived in Rock Springs for years never felt a thing but welcome with green plates..

But Jersey plates I understand. We had one more up herah, bought house next to corn field and complains to town and anyone that will listen about smell of manure. The official response was you bought a house down wind of diary farm.. What did you expect?

But WeldrDave you would be welcomed because you got common sense

After I'm done shoveling and my wife always asks, how much did we get?, my standard smarta$$ answer is, depends on where you measure.

We seem to be on the edge of the forecast. I have no idea what's going to happen. At least I know we'll have heat and a stove top. We've got chickens for eggs, but have cows or goats yet for milk. I think we will survive;)
