Says the man who probably owns a fair portion of stock in Twinkies Perhaps you eat your weight in "unlimited shelf life" product to remain so youthful? Just giving ya a little down the road, Oldman47
Eric, I don't suppose you have a snowblower. From what I see you are gonna get buried, take it real slow. Shoveling close to 3 feet of snow is killer, and you don't need to re-injure yourself. I don't know if you get that much snow often, but is it a workout.
That's good looking out right there, NHMM But, to address this properly, I shall say these things- 1- I grew up in the north. Shoveled bunches, when it snowed alllllll winter 2- I do not have a mechanized snow blower, I have an 8 years younger than me wife who adores snow and acts like a kid when it's in the forecast. And she is pretty handy with a snow shovel, too. 3- I'm desperately trying not to re-injure myself while sitting in the recliner, listening to her say how much we're gonna get, and watching her bring the snow shovel upstairs and setting by the front door Yep...I'm ready for this storm
Snow can be fun. I use to like to hike in the snow. Mum once berated me for going out in a blizzard; it wasn't that bad; what is a bit of wind on a snowy day? I have the flat-blade shovel by the kitchen door just in case I need to dig my way out.
Sounds like you have the right attitude Kimberly, If a big storm comes along, enjoy it. Find the fun in it, don't get all depressed and ready to jump off a cliff (snowbank) like the TV weather men want you to. Oh, and by the way, stayed tuned for live 24 hour storm coverage.
I am a little jealous of you guys, I like a good nor'easter every now and then. Stay warm, Stay safe, and send pics of your totals. Eric VW , I guess your wife will have to do that. I don't think you'll get any good shots from the recliner
