Don't know...I figured they had full loads to the distribution center then sent trucks with whatever pellets and other crap that yhey ordered. But not sure
Very nice looking pellet hardly any fines . It should take about a half hour to push through what was left in the bottom . Then off we go !
This year's Sets are the best ever IMO. I have been buying 10 bags a week because I need an extra ton + this year. They burn hot, with light ash, and no fines. I have always loved them. But they really are like they were 7-8 years ago when I started burning pellets
The scoop from Lowes . I guess they got 3 tons of Somerset's with there last order and they just get forgotten about while they push their larger quantities of the other brands. Also I was told they all come in under the same invoice # so they can't tell you if they have any hidden somewhere . It's more of a visual so you have to find them in my opinion and say hey can I have some of these bad boys.
My haul of Somersets . Very happy with the find but some of the bags were wet on the outside so had to do a little cherry picking . I only ending up with one damp bag so check your pellets well from the big box stores . But they are in a league of their own in the hardwood field .
They are my favorite BB pellet hands down! Unless of course I can find more PTL softies I've heard the only time Somerset runs into a problem with higher ash content is when they have a higher run of hickory in their mix.
A little update , these Set's are so good that I've turned down the feed rate from 90 % to 70 % and the house is warmer than ever .
Ok found a good place to buy my Somerset pellets . A bit of a journey 1 hour 15 mins. but a good reason for a day trip . Welcome | Long Pond Hearth & Home | Eastern Connecticut’s Hearth & Home Source
Yup, this is the only store that sells them around here, short of getting lucky and finding them at TSC or Lowes.
