    This guy is a little vulgar but he's pretty good at forecasting the weather. This is a video from last year. Probably shouldn't play it with the kids listening. He's good for a laugh too.

    They use to build a frame for old, heavy blades that were made of REAL steel and strap them to our oxen. We use to have to drive the teams and clear the streets in town so the mail could get through.

    We're projected for 18-24 inches. Ugh. About to haul more wood up to the house. Generator is ready to roll. Making chili and jerky tomorrow evening.

    We even bought new mittens and snow boots for the 2 year old. Snow will be up to his neck...
