    Got the wiring all moved and new wire to the ceiling fan and light (now on seperate switches). Tomorrow should be the big day-- removing the wall and putting in the new supports.

    You should have bogieb over to assist...he's a pro at knocking out walls to maximize the view.

    The fan being on a separate switch than the light will be so much more convenient!

    It already is! I bought enough 3 conductor + ground to do all the ceiling fan switches throughout the house.
