Another incredible jazz/blues from the Master Wayne Shorter and a dream team staff, Lee Morgan trumpet, McCoy Tyner keyboards, Regie Workman bass and Elvin Jones drums.

This is a mood album as so much jazz really is, recorded in Rudy Van Gelders basement in Englewood Cliff's NJ April of '64.

One of my favorite Bob Dylan albums, within the first few bars of Hurricane I was transported to the bar stool of the Log Cabin, my favorite haunt back in 1975. They had a great juke.

Mark Cohn is a fantastic singer songwriter. I first saw him when a poorly promoted Save the Rainforest benefit show that Martin Guitars was sponsoring in NYC was held up the street from Netscape (remember them?) developers conference. Someone at Netscape bought out the concert and gave all the tickets away to show attendees and presenters. It was a fabulous concert, Steve Earle, Carly Simon and Greg Allman, Jackson Brown, then this "Bruce" Cockburn guy came out and tore up the stage and stole the show. I had never heard of him.. now I own everything he puts out.

Yes, he is apparently starting to get some recognition in Europe, but not here. That recording was done for Sweden. A friend had posted the vid on FB.

What is that big round thing?
Is it one of those new tech things that some people use?
Wonder when they are going to start mass producing them..
