this is crazy, i also read studebaker drivers club forum and have read your threads for years guido salvage. do you still have the old horse drawn studebakers? i remember pics. i believe studebaker was years ahead in styling. too bad they couldn't have made it till today . that gt is too much, beautiful car and great colors, no miles and clean as a pin. wow! i know studebaker had a gravely connection, so did they have a chainsaw connection through them?

I bought the Hawk in Bakersfield, CA in 2000 and it had been stored in a garage from 1974-1999. While the interior was not bad, I elected to replace it. Here you can see the value to buying a rust free western car.

It may have, it has an unique grain door at the rear.

i looks to be "gently used" . i would have expected harder life on a work wagon. does it have a story?

The wagon body appears to be all original, I bought it from Brenda Grant in Nebraska (www.bgstables.com). The stenciling is still there from the merchant who sold it new. I think the running gear may have been painted. The road bands on the rims are hand forged.

too cool guido. that is a piece of history. wonder how many folks here knew studebaker made wagons? approximately what year is that from. do you have any hit or miss engines. i have a 3.5 hercules that once ran a saw blade for cutting wood on grandfather's place.

I have no idea, wagon production stopped in 1920. Never owned a hit and miss engine.

I have an old wagon that says champion on it and a couple tops with no running gear. I have an old hit and miss engine not sure who made it we run it from time to time.

i don't mean to hijack this thread with pics but we talked about the shelby earlier so i took a couple to share. it is kinda firewood related 'cause is stays in the garage with my firewood and when i moved it out i swept firewood dirt from where it sat.....the last pic shows that at 22degrees the tires have a hard time just pulling the car back in the garage! I could have bought a restored '69 Hertz Shelby in 1979 from a coworker for $5,500.
