Cops said the car wasnt driveable, so they called a tow company.
We have a few tow companies in town, and they all have to rotate through the city on a contract.
So when an accident occurs, the city will call whatever tow company they have the contract with.
Its Smith's Towing right now, and they are horrible, if you couldnt tell by my previous posts.

The car IS driveable. the front bumper cover is dragging the ground.
I could of removed it with a chain and a shackle on the rear of my truck.

Of course, since my fiance couldnt reach me, she fell for all of this.
So i get upset, apologized to her already but i let her know.. No more tow jobs with Smith's.
And they definitely dont NEED the key for any towed vehicle.

Fixed the bathroom door. Hauled some wood into the basement for the cold snap tomorrow and next week. Started getting a few things together for dinner this evening. It isn't even noon yet.

In Canada's defense, I couldn't see it either.....but then the U.P. is almost like Canada, eh?

It's just a SNL "Mango" with Ben Affleck skit.

We went to a local re-store today and managed to pick some goods from the shelves. The two monkey wrenches make my set of four now. It was just luck they had the two sizes I did not have. They were made in the late 1800's and pretty common.

I grabbed the ball peen since it was an unusually large head on a small handle.

The chisel is a Stanley. Good all around shop use. Nothing real fancy

The shingle hammer just has sweet lines. I'll look for a maker's stamp on it and work up a handle.

We stopped at a local market that sells homemade English pub meat pies and picked up a few. These were still warm out of the oven this morning. I put a few in foil and set them on the stove to heat up while I made fresh mashed potatoes. We froze a few and left some in the fridge for breakfast tomorrow.

These were pork and chicken. They were fantastic with a great crust too. It is time to do some woodworking and watch the Patriots in a few hours.

Had no idea it was that old.

I say the Colts are a train wreck and should be ashamed of themselves.

Anyone wanting to watch a great movie at home, rent "The Martian"

Wow, absolutely stunning. Then again it's a Ridley Scott movie, so it's pretty much a given it's going to be great. But this one was just amazing.

Wood stove top coffee is ready! Now I just have to run it through the cooling towers a couple times and should be able to drink it!

As I had posted last night somewhere, the snow is squeaking when you walk on it. I was reminded of this again as we walked to our vehicle after church and heard all the squeaking, shrieking, squealing snow from the cars tires as they drove past us!
Had breakfast at one of the local VFW's after that.

    Thank ya thank ya

All this down time has allowed me to spend some money on it.
I just pull it into work and have my coworker sling parts on it when he doesnt have anything to do.
Dont have much more planned for it really..
