Forgot to fill the stove last night, woke up to a cold stove. So, I figure its needs cleaned no big deal. Clean the stove and dump in about 3 lbs left in the bag by the stove and fire it up. Go upstairs to get a bag and get side tracked to the bedroom closet where we are putting down hardwood flooring. I started nailing flooring down and forgot about the stove. Nailed down about 50 sq/ft go out to cut a piece and the stove is cold again.....
Finished the closet floor which made the wife happy then went and relit the stove again.

Wow that stinks. I've forgotten a few times and woke up freezing. A lot of times i'd fill my measly hopper and on the brutal nights it would run out even tho i'd filled it. It used to take 80% of a bag. Extended the hopper - now it takes 2.5 bags. I havent had the stove run out of pellets in years.

Gotta get the Boss Lady trained! Many times I will go to bed before my wife or pass out on the couch. She hates being cold so she fills the hopper when I am a derelict of my duties. LOL!

The one that sucks is when ya wake up and the night stand clock is flashing and the house is cold.

Power went off just long enough to drop out the latching relays and the fire/fires are out.

The Quad will come on if the thing has pellets and the stat is set high enough.

Living in an area that has plenty of trees along the roads where the power lines run, a winter wind, ice, snow or ??? event can cause issues.

One small branch across the lines can cause the recyclers to kick on and off up to 3 times to burn off the crap, or at least try.

The drop out will kill the stoves though even if the power returns and stays on.

    Arrrrrrgh
