We will beat you by a little Here in NW Missouri, Grizz. We are looking at a high of 10 tomorrow and 4 or 5 inches of snow to go with it.

Looking good, I'll be locking and loading mine up with some hedge and honey locust the next couple of days... I was wondering where you was, hadn't seen you around lately. Glad to see you popped back in...:handshake:

Looks like single digits here for the next two night. I need to haul up some wood anyway, so I'll make sure there's some Black Locust in the mix. I've got some Hedge but it's still sitting in rounds as it has been for the last three years.

Yup, looks like a cold week ahead. We had some rain yesterday and some thawing and our road and driveway is like a skating rink and I don't mean for roller skates either.

It is 34 in southern Ohio. Cold temps will be here late Sunday evening. Both stoves have had the ashes emptied and are ready for the cold temps.

What t-stat setting will you use and what kind of burn time will you get? You certainly have the high BTU ammo.

Will not be quite that cold here, but will be a good test for me; looking forward to it. Still burning lots of black cherry and american elm during the day; saving the oak for the night time loads.

He lives in the same town as my brother. I think I will have to touch base with him before I head down next time-- don't want to see something that can't be unseen!

You just be sure to prearrange that visit instead of dropping by UN-announced!

My setting after burn in is about 1.25 when its in the teens and 20's. When it gets to zero or below I set at the N in Normal. At 1.25 I get 36 hours out of a load at the N in normal I get 24 hours. House stays about 76 no matter which setting

Thanks my friend. I got laid off in September and the wife and I said heck with it and traveled for about 2 months. I found new work and have been really busy. It's nice to see you all again as well.

A lot of nasty cold weather to test everyone's setups. We had to laugh tonight, kept hearing a load whistling sound, draft was so strong that the slight gap in the hole for the turn key damper was hitting the high note.
