And that's how it starts Horkn! You'll be getting sleep less and less... It's a nice thing there is always this forum to hang out, right?

Pretty soon, you'll be staring blankly into the wood stove watching the flames and soaking up the heat.....planning all the things you want to do when the weather gets warm again!

Only thing I see is that at 5:45, there is room for improvement! Remember, sun's up around 4:30 in the summer so it's really like you have slept in today!

My plans to go cut wood today were foiled, by a multitude of things. This cold snap we have coming in during the day is a big factor. Here's our forecast..

Wednesday: Cloudy with a few flurries.

Next weekend looks much better. But that may change of course.

So my new list of things to do is :

Change oil on the 4runner, I've already got my mobile 1 and pureone filter
Haul up more wood from my stack in the yard to inside the garage and on the patio.
Fire up the saw and shorten s couple too long pieces
And maybe take the pups to the dog park before the NFL games start today

I already washed the 4 runner this AM.

Shoveled 5-6 of the lovely white stuff. Fired up the OWB, hauled in an armload for the basement, baked some instant cinnamon rolls (yuk).
Wind chill is currently -20. No outside plans unless something dire comes up. Like yesterday. Had to jump on the roof and shovel since there was a "spot leak" over a bay window. Quick remedy, but I have lost all confidence in the roofer from2 summers ago. (She hired him, not me.)

Im hotter then a good fire in a stove on a early saturday morning.

Ever seen a guy come unglued with a back cast on?!
    It just happened.
    Well about an hour ago.

The towing crooks of Champaign County towed MY car this morning after my
Fiance got into an accident. Refused to tow it to our repair shop, refused to tow
it to our house AND told my fiance they HAD to have the keys for it.

I hate this specific towing company with a passion.
I was sound asleep when it happened, i wish i would of had my phone ringer on.
There are other options for the hook.

This place is directly behind where i work at. Believe it or not.
They should have known i was going to make an appearance. They should know all of my vehicles by now.

The tow truck driver looked like someone from the movie goonies.
i got my keys and a few personal belongings from the car.
I parked my truck right in the gate of the "holding yard" that is
about the size of a dog pen.
    They werent shutting me out.

    Im still fuming.
Working on getting a rental now.

Im sure these crooks are going to try and charge my insurance company twice for
picking up the car and then towing it to our repair shop.
They wont be towing it the 2nd time, Im more then willing pay out of pocket to the towing company
i prefer to make sure my car makes it safely to where it needs to go.
