Just got back in from getting breakfast, got myself a big fat crow and a wood pecker. Good thing we got some fresh snow last night, now I won't have to be digging around in that "yellow colored snow where the Huskies go"! "Moving to Montana soon, gonna be a dental floss tycoon" (Frank Zappa and TMOI for you younger folks)
Yippe yi yoh ki yay. Just refilled with some more fresh snow and got meself a big fat Crow. Wish I had some of that n. korean coffee, though. I bet that's yummy. Wait, they grow coffee in n. korea?
Wish I had time today to sit next to my dead friends in body bags drinking snow coffee in plastic and paper cups. Wish my phone worked
Wait, isn't that all we do? Oh yeah, and eat birds. Birds and snow coffee, and taking n. korean handouts of n. korean coffee. I feel sorry for all my body bag friends who are missing out.
I keep my friends covered up with tarps so I can get extra n. Korean coffee at hand out time. "oh, yes sir, they are alive, just sleeping. I'll hold they're coffee for them......"
I'm not shooting enough people with my guns....to fill the blue body bags....and get their share of snow coffee.
There were about a dozen chickadees pecking around in the yard this morning. I'm thinking that I won't wait for Tuesday. I'll be able to either eat right through the weekend or have one big feast tomorrow night. And since we haven't had any snow yet this winter, I guess I won't be getting any coffee.
What homesteading forum are you on? Kinda interested but never joined one because I don't think any forum could be as good as this group on FHC!
Video unavailable I gather us unfortunate Americans are reduced to eating crows n drinkin snow coffee Interesting Reminds me of a story my coworker told me. His stepson wants to get into West Point, so they went out for one of the tours for high schoolers n parents. Said they ate on campus, and a couple officers sitting next to them were talking about some land one of them purchased upstate. Guess one of them commented on the southern tier ( our area located south of Buffalo). Guy said it's so desolate out this way that one cannot grow crops or raise livestock, and in winter we can only get around by snowmobiles. Furthermore, it's so bad that some are just abandoning their properties. Think I'll talk to my neighbors to see when they plan to abandon their properties, I'll offer em some traveling cash.
