Looking at the calendar, I may not be able to make it that weekend (23rd), pretty sure that's my son's Spring Camporee weekend. I'll look into it. I definitely WANT to come. I'm gonna try my best!!
And don't change the venue date for me.......I'll try and make it regardless, even if it's only for one day.
They do have triggers so the citizens of canookistan will probably take his saws. I shudder to think what they will do if he has them "concealed" in saw cases.
I'll do some checking about availability. We do have a campground (located in part of a large park) within the village limits that is very good and the Shiawassee River runs right through the large park. We also could accomodate a few travel trailers or motor homes and already have a couple planning on it. We'll also have a couple porta-potties for those who need it and of course, for the big day of the gtg.
Check with a couple others from your state who are planning on coming! Love to have you here for the gtg.
Perhaps we need to start a vote on the date for the GTG. I'll start a new thread for this right away.
Your potential traveling would bring nearly right thru Wythe ville....... Add BCPLLC, maybe WVhunter, Mr. Ashwatcher and we could travel in a rental......van?
This is beginning to sound epic! But if we get a van full we're going to need at least a 12 pack of 2 liter soda bottles..
This sounds awesome and I would love to go and finally meet some of you guys for once, especially since my illness, life is too short to miss out on some good times with good people. Unfortunately I'll still be undergoing treatments until June so I will not be able to attend, but I'll be keeping my eyes open for another one down the road. Post lots of pics and have a blast!
That is true but some always open early. I'll be talking to the village people to see what can be done there. Other than that we have a place to accomadate several campers and we'll also have porta potties on site for those who might need them. We'll have plenty of food and drink. Maybe get a big campfire going at night. Much planning to be done yet.
