I ran out of Lignetics, and I am burning somersets. Sets giving me a problem with carbon. I think my favorite pellet is Green Labeled Lignectics. A little heavy on the fines, but they burn clean, and for the price you can not beat them. I will be restocking with them in the fall.
If I'm on vacation, I'm on the bike. Have no other reason to go out that way - although I suppose it could happen sometime in my lifetime.
Me too.My truck is 12 years old and has 82,000 miles on it.Toyota put a new frame on it last year.I might get another 12 years out of it.
My commute is 6 miles to my wife's antique store. I do it twice a week three times max. Before retirement drove 40 minutes each way and spent 10 hours or more at work. Do not miss it although at times A do miss the discipline of going to work. Well at least I tell my friends that to make them feel better.
I'm pretty fortunate myself 14 miles each way back country road . I could take the highway but the time is the same , depends on if you want to drive 80 or 40 miles an hour.
Burning up the last of the Firesides from last year and they are keeping the house nice and warm.Bags were on the bottom or the pile and smelled a little moldy.Seem fine though.
Yota put a new frame on mine about 4 years ago ,but I got about 300k more miles than you do your's should last forever
It was free Toyota recall for premature rusting through of the frame in states that use salt on the roads , I think that they weren't undercoated properly.
had mine done this past year, the service writer said it was around 15000 per vehicle had my truck 4 months
The frame on my last Tundra was replaced too. The dealership broke my steering system while replacing the frame. They refused to accept responsibility and I had to pay them big bucks to fix it. In the end, I wrote a letter to Toyota and they refunded my money. Big pain in the butt though. Shortly after that, the rear axle started leaking differential fluid because it had corroded so badly, several pinhole leaks developed. Only had 40k miles on it too. Traded it in and got a newer (used) tundra. I was very glad to be done with that nightmare. Late last year I brought the truck in for the frame inspection because this one too now has a corrosion recall. Fortunately the frame was fine and all they did was coat the whole thing with that black goo CRC compound.
In the words of my dealer, "Toyota rewards their dealerships handsomely for doing those frame replacements". Understatement of the year. When mine was done, the going rate was $12K per replacement.
