It's a 1970. I have several more in various stages of restoration.

Got an email from Family Farm and Home. $25 off each ton of pellets this weekend. New price will be $199.50.

Probably playing that card for two reasons. First, it's going to be cold with some lake effect white stuff this weekend. Two, 1/4 of their parking lot is covered in skids of pellets that aren't moving.

I don't need any more pellets, especially at the rate I'm burning them this season. If the price drops some more, I may consider picking up an extra ton or two, assuming the pellets aren't mush from being in the rain.

74 Z50 next to my 66 GTO. I painted it to match so I could put it in the trunk and take it to the car shows.

My local HD is relatively low on stock. But at Walmart, who doesn't delivery, they are sitting on lots of product.

Went to Lowes in Bartonsville, PA last night. Stopped counting after 60 tons. Must be at least 100 tons of various hardwoods. North American, Prest-o-log hardwood, few tons of Somerset (Picked up a few bags to try), Cheat River, and some other odd brand. Nothing really great. All for 259 a ton. Selling like hot cakes (clinkers?). Not.

I think you'll like them , that's the Lowe's where I got my 1/2 ton of them , they also had several tons of American Wood Fiber's which are a very good pellet. You're right they have at least 100 ton and it's been sitting there several weeks now and they need to move it soon to make room for spring stuff.

Well, tried the Somerset and the temp dropped by 1.5 degrees in the house (Was burning AWF White Pine). They burned OK but I will save the rest for the shoulder season.

Never put my tongue on it to taste, but prob tastes like metal and lead paint.

It's a Mt Vernon AE Insert, same as in my signature (That I updated ;)).

With the softs the stove idles on Low, but with that sets it went up to Medium High. They are more of a shoulder pellet for my stove.

Thanks. Heh, last year bought 6 tons of Barefoots to make sure we were covered in case of another shortage. Nicer now that softwoods are available and the days are not as cold. I used to like Turmans the best but this year they have a very sticky, but fluffy ash. More ash than they used to create, button they burn hotter. Odd.

It nice to finally have the softwood options in our area  Did you get the D firs over in Jersey from the Billiard place ?? I really like Turman's too I still have a few bags in my stash that I got from Cozy Barn a few years back , then when the shortage hit it was kinda hit or miss with them , so I found other sources .
