However you want to do it is fine with me I'll pay for the fuel!! Let me or swags know.. We'll be there for sure! I'm putting the vacation in tomorrow
This was my plan, but whatever Swags has in mind? I'm down! I would like to at least stay the night Sat (drive up early Sat) and BS with Dennis. I hope that Fireview still needs a couple splits that night
Hmmmm, this sounds extremely exciting :stacke:! If you decide to stay stateside perhaps you want to car pool? Or maybe pick me up from the airport in MI? Canada is way sketchy anyway, they got a lot of moose and they are mean, and frankly full of themselves... (the moose I mean, not Canadians!) Or is anyone coming from or by central Virginia? i95ish Looks like about 13 hours from here with potty stops..
Absolutely! The more I think about it, I'm not sure if I want to try bringing any of my saws through customs, so I may stay stateside. Though I think there may be a few from C VA coming - Eric VW ?
hmmm.. as I understand it you should be fine in customs as long as your chainsaw doesn't have a "kill switch"...
Would love to go to MI, just don't think it's in my cards, unless someone here or the fam wins it big and "lends" me some extra cheddar.... And PS- my hand is not out, but I would graciously accept the opportunity to meet up with the middle-of-the-country portion of FHC
Unless ya gotta "break one off," you'd have first pick of 2 liter soda bottles..... Which you would have to bring.....
Truth. We did that as kids in the back of the fam-damily station wagon goin' down the turnpike to go campin'. Good times. Mighta' been some spillage.
Hey Hey, Clip yer string Chatty Cathy! Cool yer jets and hold yer horses, buckaroo..... Well, that was fun. Now then, car pool? I wish, but I only have 14 MPG '04 Chevy Silverado..... So hmmmmmmm, yeah- truck pool wasn't an option, wasn't it?
I have a 30ish mpg cavalier that looks like crap but runs great! Definitely not hauling the spliter behind it through. but definitely room for saws and supplies.
I may not actually be at 30mpg. but I will say it costs maybe 50 bucksish to drive to buffalo. at todays prices.. BUT, with my work schedule and location, I literally spend $15 every three weeks for gasoline. its amazing! (and of course I complain to my canyonero friends that I only get 3 weeks...)
Told my wife about the gtg last night and she wasn't sure she wanted to go but told me have fun if you are able to make it. I saw this seemed like it was going to be a three day event. Are there campgrounds close by?
