Also lets not forget Lemmy. Not everyone's cup of tea but Lemmy from motorhead died late December. He was even discussed in my daughters high school. Old school rocker who used to be a roadie for Jimi Hendrix who was a real entertainer that loved his fans and rock n roll, he also helped influence many of the great metal bands that came after. Died days after his 70th birthday. His funeral was the other day.

Was fortunate enough to see the band three or four times over the years. One of my favorite bands was named after one of their tunes.
My 14 year old daughter doesnt know who he is so I told here I would play her some of Bowies more popular songs. Guaranteed she will find them to be very familiar. Edit: She know lemmy very well but not Bowie who is also a great in my mind
