    January in Wyoming. The snow blowing in the second pic is pretty with full sun. I guess the drifts to the right is almost 7' and left 8-10' Thank goodness for the temp fence WWW put up!

    Never made it out in the woods to cut today. Unfortunately it was too windy here still. But moved a good amount of wood in. Got a lot done for my wife. Laundry, grocery shopping, some cleaning, meals, dishes, etc.

    I put 3/4 cup of water in crock pot. Put a 3.2 lb. beef roast in and one whole onion cut up but left in large pieces. Then sprinkled 2 tablespoons of Montreal Seasoning on top of the meat. Cover and set on high for five hours. 2-1/2 hours in I added potatoes that were pealed and cut into great big chunks. Then added baby carrots as well. Removed drippings and my wife and daughter heated them up in the cast iron pan to a boil and added a well stirred combo of water and flour and wisked it quickly to make a gravy. I had cooked the biscuits in the oven just before to a golden brown.

    Now you know why I'm out walking fast in the cold while my son is at basketball practice!

    Lit off the eldorado in the basement after a cold day at work with the aid of one of the firestarters I made yesterday. I thought it would be too dry because of too much sawdust, but it turned out pretty good and did exactly what it was intended to do!
    The basement is especially warm tonight!
