    Had my driveway ripped up (sink holes and heaves), repacked, sloped and repaved. Much better so far. No squeegeeing for light rains, or shoveling for hard rains so far.

    Hitting here now. Fortunately, the river crossing broke up some of the storm so shouldn't be as bad as it was for those west of us.

    shmbo was surprisingly unperturbed when i informed her i had purchased a new xbox one.
    as a matter of fact, she was downright supportive. the budget will just be amended.

    got the 1tb model with the new controller, in a bundle with fallout 4 .
    it also comes with fallout3 (which i have all the dlc for)
    backward compatibility is in effect for that.

    $399 total.
    i thought all along the xbone was $299. when i realized it wasn't, i knew it would basically never be the $199 i was waiting for.
    the $50 FO4 as well as FO3 (which i will definitely replay again, for like the 6th time) made the bundle irresistible.

    and yes, i do basically sit around playing games all day if it's not racing season, or if i'm not out dealing w/ snow.
    either that or i'm watching movies and tv series w/ wifey.

    summertime is different, canoeing and biking as much as possible.
    but yes, this is what retirement looks like for me.
    still just a kid at heart.

    so stoked.
