Interesting as in "Let's have a deep intellectual conversation" or as in "Wow, look at those legs she has!" :)

Welcome to FHC 1964. Lots of ash around me too. Be sad to see it go. When it's all burned up it'll be gone for good I think.

good morning guys, sad end to a great season. with all of the free agents on the team we will look different next year........ Meanwhile we received some snow this am, so my inside and dry stash will keep us toasty warm today. these winter mornings are bearable because of hard work last fall! that is the way it works, right men? my name comes from a truck i have, a 1964 f100 with a 1 year only 262 6 cylinder. it is an unrestored parade truck that i still use lightly as a hauler. nothing serious, bales of hay, car parts to swap meets, and maybe a few splits for the fun of it! happy day

You point out something perfectly. In a day of instant gratification it's great being around people on this forum that know that's not how it really happens!

Great truck by the way. :)

yea, i read several different forums daily and only post on a couple. i have no agenda and don't need drama. i don't see either here and think i can fit in, thanks. i have been supplementing with wood since '88, and have gone to nearly 100 percent wood/ wood pellets. the house has an oil furnace and my tank is about 60 percent full of oil from years ago . kinda like a savings account lol. we run it a couple times a year to keep it working but i don't want to fill the tank again. and lastly, i am going to try post pics of some ash from my neighbors.
