Steve here's some body you might like , a fantastic guitarist started listening to him late 70's when the music scene was changing ,at least for me I was really getting in to more Jazz / Fusion enjoy my friend

 

I've been buying used records for many years whenever I find a nice used record store. Recently I've had some down time between motorcycle season and ski season so I've been listening to and taking pics of my albums. Today I came across this Dave Brubeck album CL 1690 that I apparently purchased many years ago. I noticed that is was autographed front and rear. At first I thought those autographs were just a part of the albums artwork, but after checking images on line I'm realizing it is most likely actual autographs. One is clearly Brubeck and another is definitely Joe Morello. The other two autographs are more difficult to make out, maybe not the same musicians as the album.

I wish the album was in better shape, maybe not VG. Interesting for me anyway. Makes me wonder more about the albums history.

 

Before we get too far away from Paul Butterfield and Mike Bloomfield.

 

I have Spotify and I love it. Listening to some live Dead (oxymoron?) this afternoon.

 

I bought this Bluetooth speaker yesterday, it's great!

 

This one reminds me of all you guys in the big outdoor states.

Going through some older albums. I read a Coltrane biography a while ago, and then came across this one done by his wife Alice and her collaborators, who were also John Coltrane's musicians in his bands over the years.. Pharoah Sanders, Joe Henderson, Ron Carter, Ben Riley. This album was done in 1970, 3 years after Coltrane's death and is a continuation of his "Spiritual" music.
