I had a 4-71 (4 cylinders, 71 ci each) Detroit on mine. Had about 9000 hours on the clock and sold it to a nearby chain saw collector and he is running it on his mill.
Yes that's exactly what the 4-71 stands for. This one came out of a drag line from a quarry when my pap scraped it and has been on the mill for 30 yrs no hour meter but I'm sure it's a bunch.

I have a trip to Saratoga in June and another to Syracuse in August. Don't think I'll be able to schedule another trip to New York. Y'all have fun.
Glad to see something close to home. With that being said, is there an agenda or dealer list available? Just curious of the "events" to see what is going on.
Not much of an agenda at this GTG. All saw brands of all ages are welcome. There will be at least one Stihl dealer here (cobby08) and one Jonny/Husq dealer (Spike60). Some show up around 7AM but the busiest time would be from 10-2 range which lunch being served. Will have the same food setup as last year too. Will try to have logs setup for the small saws up to the saws with 4' - 6' bars on them.
See some familiar faces in the pictures including Jack and Uncle Lee. This one is probably a bit out of my range.
