    Talk about PC gone ridiculous..
    I bought a Popeye DVD on eBay about a year ago, because it was part of my childhood too.
    Thought about showing it to the grandkids, what we used to watch...
    Not the cheezy newer ones, but the original BW, Max Fleischer episodes.
    at the beginning of the DVD there was a disclaimer
    Apologizing for some of the "content" that may seem insensitive
    to some viewers!!!!!!!!!

    I would trade, any day of the week, the "content" of those cartoons
    to 90% of the shows out there today!!

    While we are going down memory lane. What ever happened to those Butter cookies? The ones shaped like flowers, with a hole in the middle you could stick your finger in while eating. I loved those as a kid.

    Sadly, they were discontinued ..

    in the 70s, Food of the Seventies, Nabisco Butter Cookies

    The Royal Dansk Blue Tin is very tasty if you need a Butter Cookie fix, though. :D
